Save and bundle on our featured lavender paintings. This comes with a download of 4 acrylic paintings and 1 watercolour.
Supplies: Acrylic - a canvas of any size (we use 10x8" ), acrylic paint consisting of red, blue, yellow, black and white. The acrylic paints we use are from Curry's and we find it is good student-grade paint. You will need an assortment of synthetic brushes consisting of detailed #2 or a round #4/6 with point tip, medium flat #4 (frayed preferred) and a large brush either flat or round. A water cup and paper towel to rinse and dry off your brushes. *Optional to bring magenta, lavender, violet, dioxazine purple for easy purple mixing*
Watercolour - You will need watercolour paper, cake palette watercolours or tube paints, white ink or white acrylic paint, pencil, 2-3 soft brushes eg, small detailed #0 and/or#1 and round brush #4 and/or #6, a water cup and paper towel. Watercolour paint sets we use are usually cake palettes of various brands. We recommend Koi, Crayola’s basic set (for absolute beginners) and Windsor and Newton. If you are using tubes, we recommend Windsor and Newton. Watercolour pencils and crayons are also acceptable!
