The acrylic paints we use are from Curry's and we find it is good student-grade paint. The exact names read on our 2L bottles are; bright red (NOT the orange pigment), bright yellow or cadmium yellow, phthalo or primary blue, black or carbon black and titanium white. You will need an assortment of synthetic brushes consisting of detailed #0 or #1 and #6, and a medium flat/bright #4 or #6. A water cup and paper towel to rinse and dry off your brushes.
*Your wood does not have to be kiln dried but it should be sanded down to prevent the paint from bleeding on the wood or you can seal it beforehand with a stain of your choice.
