Rainbow Butterfly – Acrylic

Paint along virtually on YouTube with Vera (a link to watch the video along with a link to the downloadable outline will be emailed to you closer to the date of the event and then again after the video premieres) and receive step-by-step instruction in the comfort of your own home. This video tutorial will premiere on April 27th at 6:30 pm EST and will remain available afterward.

Event Details

You will need a canvas of any size (8×10″ or 9×12″ is recommended), acrylic paint consisting of red, blue, yellow, black and white. If you would like you can also get purple, pink and light green, but they are oprional. The acrylic paints we use are from Curry’s and we find it is good student-grade paint. The exact names read on our 2L bottles are; bright red (NOT the orange pigment), bright yellow or cadmium yellow, phthalo blue, black or carbon black and titanium white. You will need an assortment of synthetic brushes consisting of detailed #0 or #2, medium flat/round #4 or #6. A water cup and paper towel as well.
