Day 1 July 1th Sloth: Come prepared with a canvas (9×12″ or similar) or media art paper, acrylic paints consisting of primary colours (we use phthalo blue, bright/cadmium yellow and crimson/cadmium or bright red) and black and white, 3 brushes of different sizes eg, large round or square, medium round or square ( artist used square brushes originally), and small detailed #2 and #0, a water cup and paper towel. Premixed brown is good to have but not necessary.
Day 2 July 19th Zebra: Come prepared with a piece of paper, an HB and 4B pencil (or a set of them), black crayon, eraser, q-tip or paper towel.
Day 3 July 20th Dog: Come prepared with a canvas (9×12″ or similar) or media art paper, acrylic paints consisting of primary colours (we use phthalo blue, bright/cadmium yellow and crimson/cadmium or bright red) and black and white, 3 brushes of different sizes eg, large round or square, medium round or square ( artist used square brushes originally), and small detailed #2 and #0 with a pointy tip, a water cup and paper towel.
Day 4 July 21st Ocean Buddies:
You will need watercolour paper, watercolour paints in pans or tubes, white ink or white acrylic paint, a pencil and eraser, waterproof thin black pen such as Pigma Micron pen, 2-3 soft brushes eg, small detailed #0 and/or#1 and round brush #4 and/or #6, a water cup and paper towel, kleenex and salt. Watercolour paint sets we use are usually cake palettes of various brands. We recommend Koi, Crayola’s basic set (for absolute beginners) and Windsor and Newton. If you are using tubes, we recommend Windsor and Newton. If you don’t have watercolours, you can water down some acrylic paints.
